We need to transition towards an eco-friendly and sustainable approach to waste management. The implementation of better waste disposal strategies, such as widespread recycling programs, composting initiatives and implementing legislative controls is greatly needed. Fair practices will provide an incentive for individuals and businesses to reduce, reuse, and recycle, which will help combat the issue. We simply cannot continue on this path of unchecked waste production and disposal.
