My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. 

I reached out to Mackenzie Job, Jefferson City Council Member for Ward 5, regarding this petition.

She shared the following clarification: “This [intersection] would be in Cole County. That is actually in Wardsville but if it involves Route B, it’s probably a MoDOT issue.”

This clarification is helpful because it identifies the likely jurisdiction responsible for the intersection. Understanding whether the issue falls under Cole County or the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is an important first step toward directing advocacy efforts to the correct decision-makers.
