Implement a "No Entry" Sign for Tractor-Trailers at Somerset Exit in Camden City

The Issue

My personal experience and those of my neighbors living at the corner of Somerset and Randolph Street underline the urgency of this petition. Twice now, my own car has been hit by different tractor-trailers. Every other day, there's another story of a neighbor's fence run over. Too many sleepless nights have been spent worrying about the next loud crash. This invasion of tractor trailers in our peaceful neighborhood has to stop.

Over the past four to five decades, the Somerset and Randolph street community has suffered greatly due to numerous accidents involving vehicles and properties, all resulting from confused tractor-trailer drivers following inaccurate GPS guidance. The damages inflicted by these trailers have been devastating to our Camden City community, affecting both the quality of our everyday lives and our sense of security.

To prevent further destruction and to ensure the peace and safety of residents, we are urging the City of Camden to enact an ordinance establishing a community sign at the Somerset exit, right before the bridge on route 30, effectively prohibiting tractor trailers from entering. Such a move will protect our homes, our cars, and most importantly, our lives.

The time for action is now. Let's stop this continual disruption and bring peace back to our community. We urge you to sign our petition and support implementing a "No Entry" sign for tractor trailers at the Somerset exit.
