As someone who frequently travels between Colorado Springs (COS), Buena Vista, and Salida, I've experienced first-hand the inconvenience of not having a public transportation option to get to and from COS. Too often, my family, friends and I have had to resort to expensive Uber rides or unnecessary car rentals just to make this journey. 

The existing Bustang route from Denver is frequently overcrowded and requires a half day trip. Plus, without a rental car drop-off in town, we will often have unnecessary rental cars clogging up already crowded downtown streets. It's clear that there's a demand for better public transportation options in Chaffee County.

We're asking Bustang to consider implementing a new route connecting COS along Hwy 24 to various communities like Woodland Park, Lake George, Hartel and then to  Buena Vista and Salida. This would not only alleviate some of the pressure on the Denver route but also provide an essential service for residents in these areas who could use this service to get to Colorado Springs for shopping, health-care, and the airport.
