I am an everyday internet user, just like you. Recently, I've been increasingly frustrated with the current CAPTCHA systems in place on many websites. These tests are designed to distinguish humans from bots, but they often create unnecessary hurdles for genuine users like us.

The current CAPTCHA systems can be particularly challenging for individuals with visual impairments or cognitive disabilities. According to a study by Stanford University, even able-bodied users often struggle with these tests - approximately 1 in 4 cannot pass the most common type of CAPTCHA (Bursztein et al., 2010).

We need a more user-friendly solution that maintains security without compromising accessibility and ease of use. There are already alternatives being developed such as biometric identification and behavior-based algorithms which could provide a better experience for all users.
