Judge David Jones of the Greene County Circuit Court needs to be removed from office for total disregard for the law and public safety at large. He is allowing individuals who commit atrocities, such as vehicular manslaughter to walk free. 

He has become biased to the will of the people and lacks the judicial integrity to uphold the law and hold those offenders accountable. In the recent case in Greene County, his due diligence to serve equal justice as written in RSMO statutes was circumvented. Judge Jones allowed a repeat offender to walk after murdering a young woman by driving at 95 mph running a red light, with a BAC of .266. 

This ruling has negatively torn our community and has thus allowed the citizens to lose all sense of fairness and accountability of one of the most important offices in our great state. It is with a sense of urgency and distrust that we ask Judge Jones face impeachment. He has lost all credibility of the office due to his disregard of fundamental laws that govern our state. We ask the Missouri Legislature to move quick and without prejudice to restore confidence and integrity to our Judicial Offices in Greene County

Greene County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Patterson said he is disappointed by the sentence imposed by Greene County Circuit Judge David Jones. Prosecutors requested a 10-year prison sentence. Patterson calls the sentence "a slap on the wrist in such an egregious case.”.
