Immediately Release the Tiger That Has Been Captured Wrongly By the UP Forest Department

The Issue

Urgent appeal!

The Uttar Pradesh Forest Department entered the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve to capture a tigress that has been declared 'man-eating'. They, however, wrongly caught a tiger that is innocent.

The department had planned to trap the tigress in a cage close to the place where a 55-year-old priest was recently preyed on by the said beast. But they mistakenly caught the wrong tiger.

The department has now announced that the captured tiger will be shifted to Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and after further medical examination, he will be moved to Lucknow Zoo.

Sign my petition to save an innocent tiger from being transferred and trapped in a zoo cage. This must be treated as urgent as keeping a wild animal away from its habitat for too long can have a long-term impact on its behaviour.
