As a deeply concerned global citizen, I am appalled by the alleged war crimes committed under the leadership of Israel's current Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. These actions have resulted in horrific and unprecedented harm to civilians in Gaza, including women, teenagers, young children and little babies. The urgency to arrest and detain Netanyahu is paramount to prevent further atrocities from being ordered.

According to reports from Amnesty International (2020), there have been numerous instances where Israeli forces led by Netanyahu have allegedly violated international humanitarian law. This includes large numbers of indiscriminate or deliberate bombing and missile attacks against civilians, journalists and reporters, which are considered war crimes under international law.

The world cannot stand idle while such atrocities continue. It is our collective responsibility as global citizens to demand justice for the victims in Gaza. We urge the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the United Nations (UN) take immediate action and arrest and detain Benjamin Netanyahu.
