For many years, Scott Latham has worked for the Bristol Tennessee School system in some capacity or another. The entire time he has been employed, he has terrorized students and their parents. 

On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, Scott Latham removed an 11 year old female student from Tennessee Middle School and took her into a vehicle alone, where he then drove to Bristol, Virginia. When nobody was home at the Bristol, Virginia location, Scott Latham drove the female student back to Tennessee Middle School in Bristol, Tennessee. Upon arriving, the police department was called. Not one time were parents contacted, nor did they, or would they EVER, give Scott Latham, or anyone else, permission to remove their child from the school. This was done completely without their knowledge. 

Scott Latham has proven himself to be extremely narcissistic and belligerent. Examples include, but are far from limited to: Harassing students and their families to no end over verification of address, throwing parents in jail in front of their children, falsely imprisoning them, due to Beth Fritts and other staff failing to log doctors excuses into PowerSchool, resulting in truancy charges and being held for up to 10 days in the Sullivan County Jail and later being dismissed, interrogating students without parents being present or notified on information unrelated to school, humiliating female students at the Middle School graduation in front of an entire audience because she was one out of many students "out of dress code" and made her put on a sweater in front of everyone, etc. 

It appears that Scott Latham picks certain students that he doesn't like, 97% being female, and makes their lives a living hell until they either graduate or leave the School for any other reason. 

We recognize Scott Latham becoming braver in his obsessive patterns. We believe that if Scott Latham is allowed to continue his employment with Bristol Tennessee City Schools, his behavior will only escalate, resulting in children being harmed further. If he is not terminated immediately, he will continue to abuse what very little authority his title holds. He will do worse until the worst can't be undone. This is a person who does not need to be employed anywhere around children.

Please, for the safety of our children, TERMINATE SCOTT LATHAM!!!
