Immediate Moratorium onNew York Hydraulic Fracturing of Marcellus Shale

The Issue

On June 14, 2010 a bill was introduced that would put a one year MORATORIUM, suspending all natural gas drilling permits in New York. The Fracturing for exctraction of natural gas from Marcellus Shale.

It is un-clear if when and if it will be put before a full vote.

Sponsoring the bill: Sen. Antoine Thompson,D-Buffalo

Please contact your local government to put an end to this. It is obvious that the Chesapeake Energy Company thinks we are uneducated fools and too lazy to get involved and end the destruction of our Natural Resources in New York State.

The 13 states that Chesapeake Energy Company has allready destroyed are examples of what New York is letting happen right now.
