Hello Everyone . My name is Maikol Vargas , I’m a local resident in the Bridgewater township right here on Finderne  Ave. For over the last 6 months there has been a wave of car crashes and serious injuries in the intersections of Fulton Ave in  1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th St. The cause of this is due to reckless driving habits of local residents . The speed limit is 25 and the stop signs are ineffective as I myself and dozens of witnesses can tell you people blow right through the stop signs without regard for human life. Speeds of 65MPH going down and up on this area has become common. The law is being ignored in this area. There are many children in this area and walking pedestrians. 

Yesterday Saturday, April 2 , a young child was run over by a motor vehicle. For the Privacy of the family and the on going investigation I will not share more details. 

I urge local officials to take action for the safety of the community members of this township. I urge officials to install speed bumps , pedestrian crossing pavement markings & removing parking spots that create a blind spot for drivers . This will protect children at play and pedestrians and reduce motor vehicle accidents.
