The Issue

RATH (Residents Against Terrible Housing) is demanding immediate action on 896 Yellowstone Rd. in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. This house is an eyesore. It has paint peeling on all sides of the house and there are damages all around the exterior. The Yellowstone neighbors are sick of looking at it. Official complaints have been filed with the City but no action has been taken to resolve the issue.

The City's process to handle vacant and neglected houses is way too slow. We're looking to accelerate it while still giving homeowners a proper amount of time to resolve violations.

The problem is the City can take years to address vacant and neglected homes while they prioritize POS inspections. Housing has NOT been a priority for the City and we are demanding that it is.

We're no longer waiting and we're certainly not asking.

Signing this petition is one way to not just support immediate action on this house, but every other house that is a blight on our beautiful city.
