What is IMAX? 

IMAX is a proprietary system of high-resolution cameras, film formats, film projectors, a nd theaters known for having very large screens with a tall aspect ratio and steep seating.

Many films like Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, Russo Brother's Avengers Infinity War saga, Interstellar, Dunkirk, Avatar, Mission Impossible, Zack Snyder's Justice League, Harry Potter, Star Wars and so many others, are shot with an exclusive IMAX Cameras.

IMAX Cameras help to shoot films in a taller aspect ratio, and therefore enables us to see more of the movie than the normal ratio. IMAX Aspect Ratios enables us to see 40% more than the normal movies we see. Here are some evident examples of it:

As you can see, IMAX ratio not only gives you more of the filmmaker's vision but also treats the viewers with a very immersive experience. 

Unfortunately, there are no IMAX theatres in the city of Vadodara, Gujarat. There are so many viewers in the city who would love the extra immersiveness of an IMAX Screen. There is just one IMAX screen in Science City, Ahemdabad, which again isn't for commercial use and features just IMAX short films. New releases aren't screened there.

Many cities like Mumbai and Delhi already have an IMAX Screen. We request the concerned authorities from IMAX and the Government of Gujarat to collaborate and provide us with a true IMAX screened theatre in Vadodara, Gujarat.
