I’ve been a parent and a local PTO member for as long as I can remember: with this experience, I can safely say that no other teaching body deserves an increase in wages than Longview School District’s dedicated staff. 

Our teachers work tirelessly to educate our students and inspire them. Many work second or even several jobs to afford daily living costs as well as whatever additional items they need for their classrooms and lectures. Our teachers often pay out of pocket for supplies for our students, and they do this without being asked or required to. They care not for themselves in their decision to petition for fair wages, but for their students. It is because of their overall temperament and dedication towards our students that I created this petition for fair wages for our local educators.
