Give the families of addicts the opportunity to provide them with services with the law on their side.

Too often, families are left to attempt to save their loved one without assistance, and unfortunately, this tends to be unsuccessful. There are far too many lives lost that could be saved. All lives are worth saving, even if that person has made poor decisions regarding substances use. Many of these individuals are also mentally ill, and are in desperate need of services.

What is a Marchman Act?
A Marchman Act is a means of providing an individual in need of substance abuse services with emergency services and temporary detention for substance abuse evaluation and treatment when required, either on a voluntary or involuntary basis.
