State Representative Chris Miller(Republican-District 110) has taken part in the insurrection of January 6, 2021, that saw a right-wing mob storm the Capitol of the United States of America. He attended the earlier rally and railed against "dangerous Democrat terrorists" to use his own words. The actions of January 6 have led to numerous arrests, five deaths including that of an officer of the Capitol Police, and a serious weakening of our American democracy.

We, the undersigned, believe that he has failed in his duty to uphold his oath to support the constitution of the United States and the constitution of the state of Illinois by taking part in this insurrection against its lawful government. We also believe that he has failed in his duty to his constituents in the 110th District by taking part in the same. It is the duty of the House and the Speaker of the House to uphold and maintain their oaths and hold those who break them to account.

Therefore, we, the undersigned, request that Speaker of the House Emanuel "Chris" Welch instruct the House to begin expulsion proceedings against State Representative Chris Miller for the charges of incitement to insurrection against the United States.
