Tougher Laws in Illinois for Child Abusers. The abused need protection from the abuser!

The Issue

Child victims of abuse need protection from their abuser. The parent or guardian of an abused child should not have to fight in court to have their child protected from the abuser. Marsy's Law states that victims should be reasonably protected from the abuser. This is not happening and the laws need reform. Children should not be fearful of telling the truth either. The laws to protect children from their abusers need to be reformed to protect and not give the abuser more rights than the victim.
