Despite the petition being signed by over 1000 people and presented to Stockport Council in Dec 2025, no updates or acknowledgement of the petition has been received by anyone in the community involved with the petition.

Over the weekend, there was oil leaking from one of the vechicles into the canal. It's just a matter of time before there is a serious contamination.
