Snowden is in hiding in Hong Kong, having left his girlfriend, job, and life, to follow his conscience and expose vast NSA spying overreaches. He is afraid he will be kidnapped by the CIA, criminals working for them like the Triads, or Chinese Intelligence operatives. He puts a hood over his head and computer when entering his passwords due to fears of cameras. His greatest hope is that Iceland will grant him asylum.
