This petition is to allow us all to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation with ICE. Now especially, they’re officially here in Kansas City Missouri and immigrants and the undocumented run major major risks. We are students with an ELA assignment that requires at least 200-300 signatures for us to be fully credited. While this IS an assignment, it doesn’t stop the fact that ICE deportations aren’t a very real thing going on RIGHT NOW. All we ask is for students to sign their name in this petition so we can be informed and educated in the seriousness and risks the people run just because they don’t have documents. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS. Our change may not be major at all, but our efforts to do so are not in vain. HUMANITY DOES NOT REQUIRE A GREEN-CARD!!
