The recent Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raids have exposed a massive, heartbreaking reality: between 2020 and 2024, the selection integrity of IBPS PO, Clerk, and RRB exams was completely compromised by an organized multi-state cheating syndicate.
Professional "solvers" and dummy candidates used manipulated photographs and spoofed biometrics to infiltrate exam halls. As a result, 180 fraudulent candidates successfully stole seats and have been working inside our public sector and regional rural banks for years, while lakhs of honest, hardworking students missed the cutoffs by mere fractions of a mark.
This isn't just a failure of security; it is a direct blow to the dreams of middle-class aspirants who trusted IBPS as the ultimate "gold standard" of fair testing when other boards faced constant scams.
A standard age relaxation is not enough. The presence of these professional solvers artificially inflated the normalization scores and cutoffs at the Preliminary stage itself, unfairly eliminating genuine students right at the beginning of the selection curve.
Therefore, we demand absolute institutional accountability. We urge IBPS and the Ministry of Finance to implement the following three urgent measures immediately:

1. A One-Time "Special Golden Attempt" Based on Attendance
We demand that IBPS completely bypass the standard upper age limits for affected batches. Any genuine candidate who physically generated an admit card and appeared for any IBPS exam (PO, Clerk, or RRB) between 2020 and 2024 must be granted one extra, compensatory attempt in the upcoming recruitment cycle. IBPS already possesses the historical biometric and attendance logs to verify these candidates instantly.
 
2. Retrospective Justice via the Official Reserve Lists
For candidates who were placed on the official Waitlist/Reserve Lists between 2020 and 2024 but missed out due to the rigged seats, the banks must trace the data back. The 180 stolen seats must be immediately allocated to the highest-scoring, genuine waitlisted candidates from those exact respective years.
