As educated students and alumni of the IBA, we have a responsibility to stand for the truth and against oppression wherever it occurs, especially at home. 

The ongoing genocide in Gaza is no exception. The role of corporations in its legitimizing is no hidden truth. And hence the presence of such corporations at campus for consumer products, for which there readily could be alternatives, is a disappointing predicament which calls for our firm role to change.

IBA’s sponsorship agreement with PepsiCo is not unknown to us. 
This is company, amongst others’ normalized stance for Israel’s atrocities against the Palestenians is evident through the operations of its subsidiaries in Israel. In the wake of this genocide, it's high time for us to demand the removal of all multi-national corporations that support Israel. 

Here's what we're asking for:

Cancellation of Sponsorship: IBA should cancel their sponsorship with PepsiCo, Nestle and other boycotted brands for which there are local alternatives.

Alternative Products: IBA should provide alternative product options on campus.
Removal of Boycotted Products: All products of such companies should be removed from campus entirely.

Financial Impact: We recognize that these changes may have financial implications. However, no financial aid student or budget should suffer as a result. IBA must find creative solutions of adjustment to ensure that other entities will replace the role which helped aid IBA’s budget.
