This petition urges you to consider the difficulty in the Mathematics SL IB Examinations of 2017. 

Despite having looked at all the past papers and the IB Syllabus, IB students have found it extremely difficult to answer the questions of the exam and even understand what the questions required. An exam that values the knowledge of an IB student after 2 years of taking the course should definitely balance the exam questions by including different topics of the syllabus and different degrees of difficulty. 
It is found unreasonable that this exam that is supposed to test the knowledge of a student that has coursed a 2-year program only took into account few of the many topics studied. For this reason, the grade boundaries for IB Mathematics SL need to be lowered significantly. I hope the IB takes appropriate action to ensure fair assessment of its students.
