The Richland School Board in western Pennsylvania has ruled that Kasey Caron, a transgender student who has the support of friends and family, is not allowed to run for Homecoming King. 

We believe that all students, including transgender students, should be able to fully participate in school as their authentic selves. 

Richland School Board should follow the supportive example set by Marina High School in Huntingon Bech California, where recently Cassidy Lynn Campbell became the school's first transgender Homecoming Queen.
