I'm voting #YESon67 to uphold the plastic bag ban!

The Issue

Plastic bags: Californians throw away about 500 every second.

Ever think about where "away" really is? It's our coastline, our beaches, our rivers, creeks, and neighborhoods. Plastic bags kill and injure thousands of animals each year, like sea turtles, sea otters, and birds. They cost California taxpayers up to $100 million each year to clean up.

The plastic bag industry is spending millions on a campaign designed to confuse voters at the polls.

Don't be fooled: The California legislature already banned the bag in 2014. Voting "no" on the ban would be a giant step backward, and a giant payday for polluting bag manufacturers.

The message is loud and clear:

Plastic bags are bad news for California's health, wealth, and environment.

Pledge to vote #YESon67 on November 8 to uphold California's ban on single-use plastic bags!
