The closet has long been a symbol of silence-a space where queer identities have been hidden, erased, and forced into invisibility.
But, MTV India is reclaiming the metaphor.

For LGBTQIA+ individuals to truly live out and proud, it’s not their identities that should be hidden; it’s the hate, the ignorance, and the tucchh vichaar that need to be locked away.

We’re urging everyone to call out casual homophobia, outdated gender norms, and everyday discrimination and put those regressive thoughts where they belong: in the closet.

Next time you hear a slur, a joke, or a backward comment — don’t stay silent. Call it out. Lock it up.
Use the 🤏🏻 #TucchhVichaar emoji and help us shut the closet door on hate, not on people.

Sign the petition. Take a stand. Let’s build a world where only hate stays hidden.
