We believe in the importance of community involvement in wildlife rescue. Over 8,000 native birds and possums are injured and brought into care each year on the Central Coast, NSW. These animals require experienced carers with specialised equipment for their proper recovery and release, and the current wildlife groups are at capacity.

Phoenix Wildlife Rescue Inc. is  ready to step up to this challenge. Phoenix aims to alleviate the pressure on existing facilities, offering the advanced capability, capacity, experience and equipment necessary to ensure all wounded native animals in the area are rescued promptly. 

However, to serve our wildlife and community, Phoenix needs a wildlife rehabilitation license from the NPWS. This approval will enable Phoenix to provide vital support to native animals in need, and the community members who are involved in their rescue.
