Like in my case when my daughter incident occurred the centre was trying to just get me to sign a incident report. 
It was a very stressful time for me but fortunately I was able to ring and ask and find out what I could do in hope to make sure the centre was held accountable in hopes that the incident couldn’t happen again so in the attached link has information on what to do if your child is injured at childcare and how and who to report it too. 
I feel that the department of education is and has overlooked a very serious danger to our child cause obviously all the goodstart centre got from my daughters incident was fines so this is what this petition is trying to prevent so more serious action to be taken!
