It's important to offer adaptive categories in high school athletics because not every family has the resources to make it to the adaptive events offered through organizations like Move United. Opportunities need to exist where the kids already are, and where they are is in their own school. But if a kid with a physical disability CAN make it to one of these adaptive sporting events?
