Just wanted to reach out and thank you all for your support in this campaign. I’m quite new to this platform but (from what I’ve been told) to have nearly 125 signatures in a bit over 24hrs is an excellent start.

At this point it would be great to keep up the momentum and really see the tally grow! To this end I would ask that you please share the petition’s details as widely as possible. Perhaps you could start a conversation along the lines of “I would encourage you to consider signing the petition and supporting the effort to have the Veterans’ Affairs portfolio restored to Cabinet. This is not simply a partisan politics issue, but the desire to see the care and welfare aspects of Veterans’ Affairs on an equal footing with other “care-based” portfolios such as Health and Aged Care, NDIS, Social Services, Indigenous Australians and Women.”
