Today, can you tweet the Prime Minister asking him to start a Parliamentary Inquiry into the unfair compensation system for serious healthcare injuries?

Almost one year ago, ABC TV aired my story after I nearly lost my life from hospital surgery, and I'd like to share it with you all. 

With a newly elected government, we have an exciting opportunity to create a fairer system for injured patients. Your support has given Sarah and I a renewed sense of hope, but our work is far from over.

There are still too many barriers within the current system, which makes it almost impossible for injured patients to access, let alone win, lengthy compensation claims.

In the words of eminent health economist Professor Stephen Duckett, "It's a very unfair system". He also stated* "It’s a lottery if you get compensated or not.”
