The last Hyundai Excel X3 model from 1998 to 2000 was the best and finest modern version for the Excel. The bumper and back lights in 1998 were upgraded to make the Excel more modern.

The last years, the Excels are slowly disappearing world-wide. By car accidents, the engine hit it's 300.000 km limit, or simple the reparation became too expensive like vandalism or other things and the car had to be brought to the car scrapping.

A great and interesting reason why the Hyundai Excel should be rebuild in a tiny more modern version: The promising and reliable engine and the Excel's 'sport' style beats all other older cars still today. However since the Excels are running out, it's time to bring them back on the road again!
