Today, around 9:30 AM I went out to get groceries for my family. I had to take my younger brother along because carrying 10kgs of rice and wheat flour would be impossible. Midway we were caught by the police because 2 people were not allowed on the bike. They made us stand for hours and ceased my bike. It was during this time I noticed that multiple people passed by without being stopped, not even to check for a pass, I called my dad and told him about what happened.
My parents came down to speak to the commissioner incharge but got no response either. My mom tried to speak to one of the police men and was shoved. I asked him not to do that but instead, he caught me by the collar and pushed me really hard, I was only allowed to leave after they blackmailed me into signing a form under Section 41 and my bike has been ceased.Post that, I just got back home from this spectacle. We were fasting all day and yet, made to stand under the scorching sun .

Is this all just because of my religion?
Isn’t the Police supposed to protect us rather than cause so much distress? 

Please to prevent incidents like these make them wear a camera and record as they do for when drunk and driving cases. This is pure abuse of authority!
