At the University of Arkansas we have two arenas on campus; the 'Barnhill Arena' and the 'Bud Walton Arena'. As a 3rd Generation Razorback I believe we have some of the best and most unique sport scene at the U of A as well. Having two arenas is, for one thing, hard to maintain but also the word 'arena' is boring. Looking at the names around the nation there is one name missing... Across this great nation we are known for having the 'Basketball Palace' aka the 'Bud Walton Arena'. This name 'Basketball Palace' comes from our rich basketball history but to match all of our success we need a name to bring it all together. I present to you 'THE PALACE AT BUD WALTON' I am asking for you to sign this petition to change the name of 'Bud Walton Arena' to 'The Palace at Bud Walton'.
