The Hunter Homeowners hired Attorney Steve Barshov and announced he is representing us to the Village Attorney. Then the Village Attorney retired and the Mayor Resigned. All seemed to become quite for the last few months.   Hunter Board update : Meeting on 7/12 Mike Papa a newly elected trustee who ran unapposed asked for a vote from Longtime Trustee Ben Sommers to make him Mayor. Ben voted to abstain and wait another month. After being pressured and belittled by his fellow trustee Mike Papa and forced to give an answer He forcefully said “No”Then Trustee Mike Papa asked for a brief executive session in the Sewer Facility Parking lot. Ben came back and Reluctantly voted yes. Immediately Mike PaPa became our new Mayor and appointed Dorothy Grasso to replace himself to become a new Trustee.We were told that a Special Election could not be held.  Village of Hunter meeting minutes have not been updated since 4/24.
