The Issue

Today a Journey begins. As Ganjactivist1, I am launching this campaign to rally the Government of Jamaica to cease and desist from executing raids, incarceration and the harassment on our local small Cannabis farmers. Farmers who will be playing an integral role in the growth of Jamaica's future Cannabis economy. The legal process is long. Life, is short. Let the farmers live in peace.

Farmers who are plying a trade to harvest a plant that people request and humanity is demanding. Ganja has been an indelible asset to the progress of mankind, throughout all global societies. The political and economic reasons surrounding it's illegal classification has had an astoundingly degenerative effect on the progress of humankind. These people have remained true to our forefathers. We must throw our collective support as a human community to show support for these persons merely tending to a plant, international bodies have declared as dangerous.

We now know the plant is only dangerous to specific industries that have stranglehold on our resources and health and exploit that power. We are opposed to any exploitation of people or lands and will request that the Government of Jamaica issue a temporary stay of execution on ALL FARMERS growing the Ganja plant for personal use and local sale, until the appropriate laws are in place to regulate the legal cultivation and trade in the Ganja plant and its by products, in accordance to the public's demands. ~One Love #IamAGanjactivist @Ganjactvist1
