Humanitarian Visas for Jamaicans impacted by Hurricane Melissa

We, the undersigned, call on the UK Government to urgently establish Humanitarian Visas pathways for Jamaicans impacted by Hurricane Melissa, especially Children and elderly with family in the United Kingdom.

As King Charles remains Head of State of Jamaica and given the historical ties, the UK has a duty to act. Hurricane Melissa has displaced families, children & the elderly continue to suffer.

We ask: that His Majesty's Government grant compassionate Humanitarian Visas, to Jamaicans impacted, who have family in the UK. Britain showed compassion with "Homes for Ukraine"; now it must stand with Jamaica.

We urge you to

  • write to your Member of Parliament (MP) or
  • Write to the Home Secretary of Foreign Secretary or
  • Share this Petition on social media and tag them.

Sign to ensure Jamaicans aren’t left behind. #VisasForJamaica #ClimateJustice #VisasForJamaicans
