In the United States, 2,7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized every year simply because too many animals enter shelters and too few people consider adoption when looking for a pet. The number of euthanized animals could be dramatically reduced if more people take pets instead of buying them. We should all be part of a change and why not be part of saving many dogs lives. Instead of seeing dead or homeless dogs on the street everyone should adopted a pet and change the community. After all, a dog could be anyone's best-friend.
