Animal lovers and rescuers have had their constitutional rights demolished by illegal,unfair and discriminatory animal by-laws introduced by the Democratic Alliance in 2010 which not only restricts the amount of animals an individual wishes to care for but have declared war on animal owners.They absolutely ignored the massive public outcry opposing these proposed laws which is in direct violation of their own and the countries constitution.These by-laws leave animal owners and their animals completely vulnerable to complete abuse and offers the animal owner absolutely no protection.Since the introduction of these laws the Democratic Alliances Law Enforcement have been relentless in their persecution of responsible animal owners and rescuers.Animal rescuers,who provide an invaluable service to a vast amount of neglected and abused animals, in less fortunate communities,have been persecuted and prosecuted by the Democratic Alliances government.No laws,in a democratic country,should provide selected protection to it citizens. We want the Human Rights Commission to investigate and prosecute the Democratic Alliance for Violating the constitutional and democratic rights of citizens and to end this merciless persecution of animal owners.
