In the year 2015 we have come a long way from the old days where women were not allowed to vote, work and were refused education. Now women have the right to vote, work and receive the education they deserve. Our technology has improved tremendously, making it more possible to gain access to the internet on the run or download important files.

However the one thing Australia seems to be lagging behind in from the rest of the world is Disability inclusion. Did you know that in the UK it is by law that ALL public buildings are to have wheelchair access? Here in Australia it is just a guideline, if a building does not have wheelchair access it is just bad luck for those living with a disability. 

Wheelchair access is not only for those using a wheelchair, I use the wheelchair access personally because I have lost my balance due to surgeries and I can not physically climb up the stairs.

What I am petitioning for is to have all buildings right across Australia to have wheelchair access. This will start to show that Australia is disability friendly. So if you believe that Australia should be an inclusive country, please sign this petition and hope for a change. :)
