Reopening of the Billey Joe Case

Reopening of the Billey Joe Case
The Issue
Back on December 8, 2008, in Lucedale, Mississippi my middle brother Billey Joe Johnson Jr. was robbed from us. Two long stressful , depressing months just for the Grand Jury to tell my family he committed suicide. Nobody that was supposed to get investigated and or subpoenaed did.
Billey was only 17, with a very promising future. He rushed for more than 4,000 yards in his high school career. He had scholarship offers from universities including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State Oregon, plus more according to Scout, a national recruiting service. Such a promising future , but he “accidentally” shot himself. In fact the morning he was killed, he was supposed to been going to Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi to receive an football award..... It makes no sense that my brother would have intentionally or accidentally killed himself. He had a such promising career. He was an avid hunter and knew how to handle guns quite well.
It’s been 11 going on 12 years with still no justice, no peace at all. We hurt over the years and even lost my mom as his case turned cold. She left this world only wanting justice for her baby. It’s 2020 and now we’re back coming stronger than ever for the answers we deserve! If you don’t mind, help us get the justice we should’ve gotten 11 years ago! If you don’t know his story , learn his story!!!!! Help get his case reopened and put those bad people away! One signature will surely make a change. So why not start here?
