If you thought the socially-conscious Huffington Post would be the last place you'd ever see an illustrated article making a joke of sexual abuse and violence, think again. The article portrays a male victim being sexually assaulted by a female partner, all with the intention of being funny. But sexual assault isn't funny. The Huffington Post knows it isn't funny, judging by the number of articles they've written about the importance of taking rape seriously. Our petition aims to hold the Huffington Post up to their own standards, but it needs your help! If you've already signed, please take a moment to share the petition with your friends and family, and ask them if they would hesitate to sign if the portrayed victim was female. Both men and women deserve the same respect, and it's time the Huffington Post come to know that.
