Change for the better with SCP: Secret Laboratory
Change for the better with SCP: Secret Laboratory
The Issue
Many of the SCP: Secret Laboratory Staff are getting tired of the way the game is being ran. Hubert Moszka, Project Owner, has undoubtedly made some very questionable calls while I myself have been a member of the staff team. Aside from these questionable calls, which I will get to later, it seems that Hubert has stripped the SCP:SL community of a voice, and only gave a voice to Patrons - which is not at all a good thing. A reliable company would want outside suggestions and recommendations so they can further improve the structure and relationship with the public. This is completely opposite for SCP:SL, as the developer only wishes to hear what he wants to hear.
SCP: Secret Laboratory Staff are calling for Hubert Moszka to take action and step up his game. This includes re-banning a malicious user by the name of JWGingie who completely shattered the well-being of The Lion, SCP:SL Project Manager. This is unacceptable, and we call Hubert to enact new changes such as rebanning Gingie, listening to the community, as well as doing some of the following:
- Give more access to developers such as allowing them to perform updates, etc. Maybe pay them with money you get from Patreon (So that they'll be less inclined to mess around).
- Give more power to the community. Allow non-donators to suggest things too. Find a different incentive.
- Apologize to The Lion for the unbanning of Gingie. He does not deserve to be unbanned after what he did.
- Give more access to The Lion and appropriate staff so we do not have to wait a long time for Hubert.
- Improve communication. We have not seen Hubert communicate effectively with the staff team as a Lead Developer / Project Owner.
- Take more time to focus on bugs than features.
We, the staff of SCP: Secret Laboratory, would like to make it clear that we are not staff for Hubert, we are staff for the community because we have a vested interest in the game, and enjoy the community in itself. We heavily advise Hubert to take the above conditions into consideration, or face a massive staff walkout in which we will no longer continue to support the conditions of which the staff team is being treated, and the game is being run.
Regards,
The SCP:SL Staff
