Stop Deforestation

Approximately 3.5 to 7 billion trees are cut down each year. Tropical deforestation is responsible for about 10 percent of global warming emissions worldwide. Continuing, the increase of mass deforestation will lead to a loss of biodiversity, increased climate change, violation of land rights, etc. The biggest threat to forests today is industrial agriculture production of commodities such as paper and logging. By giving us your signature you will be calling out companies at fault who are contributing to deforestation. Big companies such as Kellogg's, McDonald's, and Burger King are part of the palm oil industry causing a devastating impact on forests wiping out millions of hectares of forest and releasing hundreds of millions of tons of carbon into the atmosphere every year. Help us bring a halt to the cruelty of deforestation. It is our duty to maintain the beauty of the Earth so please sign this petition. Thank you for your time!
