“Hi!” to all my supporters! Your support is highly valued, and I thank you for signing, and for sharing as widely as possible on all social platforms.
I would like to share the story of Rico, a Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Mallinois mix, who was a vibrantly healthy dog all his life, but recently became a victim of Bravecto.
When the Facebook group “Does Bravecto Kill Dogs?” was initiated less than a year ago, people worldwide began responding with stories about serious adverse reactions to Bravecto.
Shortly after, the Facebook group “Does Nexgard Kill dogs?” was also initiated, and people immediately began responding with similar stories about Nexgard.
Today, the group about Bravecto boasts 18273 members as I am writing this, and the Nexgard group has 1245 members.
The Facebook group “Is Bravecto Safe” was started recently, after Rico’s passing. I copy and paste directly from the post on the Facebook group "Is Bravecto Safe?". The post is by Rico’s owner, Mike van de Sande.
Here is Rico’s story:
THE DEATH OF MY DOG RICO (AS A RESULT OF THE USE OF THE TICK& FLEA-TREATMENT BRAVECTO) IS THE REASON THAT I STARTED THIS FACEBOOK GROUP. I had full confidence in our vet, we could always discuss everything. When we got the advise to use BRAVECTO against ticks and fleas, I was told that it was a very safe drug, which could even be given to pregnant female dogs. That sounded great! BUT NOTHING TRUE ABOUT THAT!!!! Sadly I found out two days later, when "Rico" got very ill, and h...e died within a month because of the toxic agent............ Read more stories of serious side effects and victims (and information about Bravecto) under "Files". Did you experience serious side effects. Let the world know, and tell your story here to prevent that more dogs will die...
Also visit the website www.isbravectosafe.com and sign the 3 petitions (in English, German and Dutch) to get Bravecto off the market as soon as possible. THE MANUFACTURER MSD/MERCK DENIES ANY RELATIONSHIP. AND MEANWHILE BRAVECTO IS PROMOTED LIKE CRAZY AS A “VERY SAFE MEDICATION”, WHICH IT DEFINITELY ISN’T, TAKING IN ACCOUNT THE MANY SIDE EFFECTS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED WORLD WIDE.
I thank Mike for his consent to feature his dog. My sentiments are exactly the same as that of Mike, who has lost his dear furchild to this drug. As always, I will NOT declare a victory, unless it is a TRUE victory: this drug must be PERMANENTLY removed from the shelves of all shops and practices currently selling Bravecto, and Merck must recall it.
