On 27 April 2016 a victory was declared on the Brazil petition against Bravecto. I do not agree with the declaration of victory, since I get the impression that it was done under duress. To me there was no victory at all, since the product is still on the market. The responses from MSD was nothing but a repetition of excuses and negations that one hears on nearly every comment by a Merck official, and every vet supporting them. I hereby confirm that this petition will NOT be declared a victory UNLESS Merck agrees to withdraw their product from the market for further research. There is not nearly enough info available on this very new tick and flea pesticide, and too many vets and Merck officials deny (without knowing all there is to know about Bravecto)that the adverse effects can NOT be the result of the ingestion of Bravecto, . The dog on the newly added photo is just 5 years old, and went blind after just two doses of Bravecto. Of course the denial was there that it could NOT have been as a result of Bravecto, but she also now forms part of the anecdotal evidence, which is mounting day by day. So all of my supporters: please take heart, the fight will carry on until it is won and until I can declare a TRUE victory. Antoinette LeRoux
