Help Save the Amur Leopards

Help Save the Amur Leopards
The Issue
As of the beginning of 2019, there are 60-80 Amur Leopards left. The Amur Leopard are a rare species of leopards that have adapted to life in far-east Russia. They live in temperate forests, broadleaf forests, mixed forests, and in the mountains. They are also the only leopard species that have adapted to live in both hot summer and snowy winter climates. Amur leopards are nocturnal animals and sleep in caves and sheltered areas of the forest. They are carnivores so at night they drag home animal remains. They eat roe deer, sika deer, hares, pigs, badgers, and can even eat baby black bears when feeling brave. Even with this, Amur Leopards are on the brink of extinction due to habitat loss and poaching.
