The Issue

Last year I lost two of my dogs to illness within 5 weeks of each other, Holly passed away on January 10th and Danni passed away on February 14th, quite fitting really as she was so loved. We still had a Siberian Husky who was grieving and lonely and We decided that we wanted to take in a husky in need from a rescue charity. We first got a boy from one rescue and then we found a Facebook page for Heart Welfare Husky Rescue and we found Ruby on there, it was love at first sight, I felt a strong bond to her, we officially adopted her earlier this year, In July we saw Maiya and it was the same thing, I felt an instant connection with her. We recently began adoption proceedings with Heart for Maiya and they were extremely happy for us to adopt both Ruby and Maiya.

We had an incident a few weeks ago where Sendari became stressed and her and Ruby went through a short period of having spats with each other, I went to Heart Welfare for advice, they gave me tips on how to handle the situation, which, I have followed strictly and the situation has been resolved. All the dogs are safe and well. Ruby and Maiya adore each other and they love us and they have a loving, happy home.

Heart Welfare have come to a different conclusion despite the situation being resolved and are trying to take my babies away from me. I have loved them, nursed them when they've been unwell and cared for them with every bit of my heart.
Heart Welfare Husky Rescue are threatening to remove two huskies that I have taken in to my home and in to my heart from their rescue charity. They are saying that they're welfare is at risk, but they are both settled, safe and loved. It is unfair to the dogs to remove them from a loving home to God knows where.
Please sign the petition to save my two beautiful huskies from possibly ending up in a situation like this. Both Ruby and Maiya have thrived with me and they have both developed in to happy, loving, affectionate dogs and myself and my sister Susannah love them with all our hearts and it would break our hearts to lose them. They helped us through our grief over losing our babies last year and we would be heartbroken to lose them.

Please stop Heart Welfare from taking our babies away for no other reason than financial gain.
