Del Pilar Academy is known for its quality education and its many achievements whether on the academic field, journalism, or athletic competitions. It is an institution built on a strong foundation and dedication of imparting needed knowledge to its students. The school is not deprived of special facilities like Speech Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Chemistry Laboratory, and Physics Laboratory which aid in better learning experience. We have been studying at Del Pilar Academy for almost five years now and we are satisfied with those facilities but, the classrooms in Main Building needs more concern from the institution. Currently, most of the rooms have two ceiling fans while other rooms have a wall fan plus two ceiling fans. There are 45 students per room and we believe that the number of fans is not enough, as what we have experienced before. Due to our concern for the younger students, we propose to have two more ceiling fans added in each of the rooms in the Main Building. Through this proposed project, students will be more focused on listening to discussions rather than busying themselves with fanning and complaining how hot it was. Teachers will also benefit from this project because they will be able to focus on discussing with a cooler environment. Well-ventilated classrooms will contribute a lot for a better learning experience.

            The addition of two more ceiling fans, if granted, will be implemented on the next school year. We will be spreading our proposal using WordPress and Change.org to gather support from fellow students and concerned parents.  This project is expected to gather a good number of supporters since it is really necessary to have well-ventilated classrooms, especially for private schools where students pay for energy fees.

            We are reaching out to Del Pilar Academy’s Administration Office and SAMAGUDELPA to help us achieve this proposal. We seek support for the implementation of this project to give the junior high school students a better learning environment. We plan on discussing this matter with you personally so we can talk about the budget needed and how we can help on gathering funds.
