Dear HSBC,                                                        We are concerned about a project you are supporting. The Tampur hydroelectric dam will not only displace indigenous peoples but it will also block an essential elephant corridor and potentially lead to the extinction of the Leuser elephant population. We understand the predicament your company is in, but we also believe you can find better business opportunities in Southeast Asia. Please do the right thing and cancel the funding for this project.
